We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Corporate Account Manager

In this role you will:

  • Lead a team to drive business penetration and build relationships with the corporate clients of CIB and CMB Develop new EBS relationships by employing effective business development tactics and liaising with CIB and CMB business heads and RMs to garner appropriate introductions to prospective clients. 
  • Manage and own the relationships with EBS’s globally significant firms, with the aim of leveraging existing propositions and programs to deepen these relationships. 
  • Act as a filter for everything required by EBS clients in relation to the financial wellbeing of their employees, ensuring the unique make-up of a company’s workforce and their banking needs are fully understood 
  • Identify and support companies within the portfolio that have an internationally mobile workforce and high numbers of 'New to (Country)' employees, ensuring HSBC is the bank of choice for the internationally minded employee. 
  • Drive sustainable account growth and income revenues by promoting (Country)'s Employee Banking Solutions
  • Develop new opportunities to acquire professionals and executives to RBW, by appropriately referring customers to the branch network, focusing on the holistic personal banking services that HSBC can provide (Retail, HSBC One, Premier and Premier Elite)  

To be successful you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, related field or equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum of eight years proven and progressive retail banking sales experience. 
  • Strong sales, managerial, interpersonal, organizational, communications, negotiations, lateral thinking and decision-making skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal business partners as well as external corporate clients. 
  • Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry particularly retail and wealth management, coupled with the ability to understand and negotiate through the HSBC internal network 
  • Robust understanding of Global Standards, particularly AM, GHR and cross border requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Good PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
