We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Business Architect.
In this role you will:
- Target Business Models: Capture target models that account for AI-native capabilities, providing traceability from AI investment to competitive business advantage.
- TOM Design: Develop Target Operating Models that specifically address the shift from manual process-driven operations to AI-orchestrated environments.
- Gap Analysis: Identify "AI-readiness" gaps in current state operating models and define the transition roadmap for AI adoption.
- Design Board Representation: Present AI-specific architectural designs to the GPB&WPS Design Board, ensuring consistency with global AI principles and reusability of agentic components across the group.
- Thought leadership: Demystify Agentic AI for senior leadership, building confidence in autonomous workflows and their impact on the GPB&WPS portfolio.
To be successful you will need:
- Advanced AI Literacy in a Financial Services context: Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and specifically Agentic AI Design Patterns (multi-agent orchestration, tool-calling, and autonomous planning) as well as data architecture.
- Human centric design skills: Ability to take market leading practices and ideas around new ways of working, and translate them into robust strategic designs - eg. around customer and staff experience
- Operating Models: Proven ability to build a Centre of Excellence (CoE) from the ground up, including governance, talent strategy, and service delivery models.
- AI Ecosystems: Familiarity with the technical landscape of AI (e.g., MCP, Vector Databases, RAG architectures, and AI Orchestration layers like LangChain or Semantic Kernel) from a business design perspective.
- Architecture Frameworks: Deep knowledge of Enterprise Architecture adapted for AI-first environments.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to derive insight from "imperfect data" to feed into AI models and training sets.
- AI Transformation: Experience leading or contributing to the implementation of AI/ML projects within a heavily regulated financial environment.
- Complex Change: Proven track record in supporting large-scale change involving people, process, and emerging technology development.
- Senior Influence: Experience in persuading senior stakeholders to adopt transformative technologies (like AI) while managing risk appetite.
- Extensive experience: 10-12 years working in digital transformation, advisory and strategicroles.
