Product Specialist / Trader

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Product Specialist / Trader. 

In this role you will:

• Responsible for daily executions of cross-assets structured products, provide daily runs, handle day to day pricing requests as well as address after sales inquiries of executed trades
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors in providing optimal pricing and Structured solutions to clients
• Responsible for cross asset class flow and non-flow Structured Products price discoveries, order placements and executions per Regulatory framework and desk procedures
• Support the team on marketing initiatives, provide trade ideas that are appropriate to WPS clients and participate in platform enhancement or other ad hoc projects
• Generate research ideas that act as backbone to the fabrication of Structured Products
• Support the team on platform enhancement or process streamlining initiatives

To be successful you will need:

• Experience in Structured Products investment or Capital Markets products
• Proven track record in sales and advisory in Structure Products
• Excellent communication skill is necessary as the specialist often has to present complex financial concepts and strategies in a simple form
• Solid sales and marketing skills
• Strong knowledge in business computer applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• A bachelor or graduate degree in Finance or Business is required
