Equities Investment Specialist - HSBC Global Asset Management

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Equities Investment Specialist.

In this role you will:

• Support Sales activities, e.g. training, responding to questions, analyzing competitors, customizing presentations. 
• Proactively communicate client investment opportunities based on strategy performance, characteristics, competitive positioning and market environment. 
• Act as main contact point for investment content and information relating to RFP’s and strategy presentations.
• Produce content for regular reporting, eg. quarterly review presentations, fund commentary.
• Create materials for external distribution including thought leadership, product brochures, webinars, manager interviews; place articles and craft responses to media requests.
• Evaluate product set and maintain visibility in light of asset pool and competitive positioning
• Initiate and participate in Product Strategy and Product Development plans, acting as a key contact point for fund launches and revamp

To be sucessful you will have:

• Proven experience and understanding in equity markets; whether as investment specialist, sales, research / fund management or investment consultancy / institutional role
• Strong presentation skills and is able to handle sales and client confidently
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and advocate for the strategies under coverage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, Bloomberg and ideally databases such as eVestment, Morningstar
