Investments and Wealth Solutions
Hang Seng's Investments and Wealth Solutions offers a full spectrum of wealth products and services to our Retail Banking and Wealth (RBW) customers, from high-net-worth to mass segments across channels to capture opportunity under different market scenarios. We play a distributor role to source investment and insurance products from service providers, manage the product due diligence and onboarding, as well as client journey design and implementation. We distribute investment funds managed by top tier fund managers covering different types of funds, across regions and asset classes. A wide range of structured products with underlying linked to equities, FX rates, interest rates, investment funds, etc. are offered for investors to pursue different investment objectives. We also offer fixed income instruments and certificates of deposit to customers who look for regular coupon payment. Besides, we have securities services covering exchange traded equities in local and overseas markets offered through a wide variety of trading channels. Margin trading services covering FX and securities, and investment financing service provides extra liquidity and purchasing power to cater for investment needs from sophisticated investors.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Product Manager (Structured Products).
Principal Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of structured products (e.g. equity-linked notes, capital-protected investments, rate-linked products)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Treasury, Investment Advisory, Legal, Compliance, and Sales Management to design and launch innovative investment solutions
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and market players activities to identify opportunities for new product ideas or enhancements
- Ensure all product documentation, marketing materials, and sales processes adhere to regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks
- Conduct product performance analysis, measuring returns, sales metrics, and client feedback to inform continuous improvement
- Coordinate product training sessions for relationship managers and front-line staff
- Manage product pricing, profitability tracking, and approval processes
- Support digital initiatives to enhance distribution and product accessibility through online and mobile channels
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; professional qualifications (CFA, FRM) are an advantage
- 5+ years of experience in product management or development within retail or private banking, with a focus on structured or investment-linked products
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and retail client needs
- Familiarity with Hong Kong regulatory environment for investment products (e.g. SFC, HKMA guidelines)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to influence and drive cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in MS Office, VBA and familiarity with digital banking tools or platforms is a plus
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective deliverables
