Role Purpose:
The objective of this role is to be responsible for leading initiation of projects, capturing and defining requirements through to delivery, assisting in delivery of prioritised change for Transaction Management. The role will ensure the successful implementation of functional deliveries and on-boarding of clients to existing and new channels and capabilities to deliver end to end solutions in support of Securities Services (SSv) and client needs.
Drive the delivery of the platform roadmap (in JIRA), co-ordinating with Product Owners, Account managers, Operations and Technology. Tasks include co-ordination of the development of training material, guides and specifications to assist client on-boarding. Tracking the on-boarding of clients to strategic Transaction Capture channels to ensure achievement of annual digital adoption targets. Delivering demonstrations of platform and channel capabilities to client and internal stakeholders. Readying of support teams for new digital capabilities, ensuring operating models are documented and agreed with stakeholders in a consistent format.
In this role you will:
- This will include managing the initiation, requirement, development, implementation of functional deliveries and tracking on-boarding of clients to existing and new channels and products to deliver end to end solutions in support of Securities Services (SSv) and client needs. Ensure all initiatives are captured, managed and reported alongside the Target Operating Model in JIRA.
- Programme/Project Control and Delivery: Following a Hybrid Agile methodology shaped by the Target Operating Model you will support the delivery of complex, high risk and cross functional/cross product programmes and ensure appropriate alignment with HSBC Functional Instruction Manuals and Risk Frameworks.
- Continuous Improvement: Participates in continuous improvement to the platform’s and wider HSBC approach to managing change, including identifying best practice both internally and externally.
- Stakeholder Management: Supports the delivery of the Transaction Management Platform through establishing effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Knowledge sharing: Share best practice approaches with Transaction Management colleagues and across Product Solutions
To be successful you will need:
- Expert in Business Analysis, Change Management & Agile Principles
- A good understanding of technical build, test and deployment technologies
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Good relationship management skills - able to engage with and gain confidence of others and maximise their contribution to the process.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and business sponsors.
- Must be a strong communicator both verbal and written.
- A self-starter who takes accountability and ownership for coordinating and planning key activities.
- Project management and reporting through JIRA
- A good understanding of digital capabilities and the industry landscape
- A good understanding of Custody, Treasury and Fund Administration services
- Significant delivery track record with experience of successful change delivery within a financial services environment.
