We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Marketing Manager.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the development and execution of data-driven B2B campaigns. This role focuses on customer-centric engagement, achieved through cross-functional collaboration with sales and product teams, while ensuring alignment with global and regional goals to drive revenue growth and market share.
Leveraging your industry expertise, you will work across lines of business to strategically plan and execute marketing initiatives designed to strengthen and deepen client relationships, originate new deals, and enhance business usage and affiliation.
This position is ideal for a marketing professional passionate about aligning industry insights with client needs to deliver measurable commercial success.
In this role you will:
Impact on Business
- Champion provocative and articulate strategic thinking to align business and marketing teams, fostering best-in-class practices. Contribute to the development of a framework that enhances effective communication, performance management, and customer-centricity, serving as a refreshed model for more efficient ways of working.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging trends and technologies relevant to HSBC CMB propositions, uncovering new strategic opportunities to drive revenue growth. Define clear B2B2C roadmaps to optimize business outcomes and deliver measurable results.
Growth in Commercial
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Hong Kong and mainland China business customers, with a focus on trends and their connection to financial products, services, and category dynamics. Leverage this knowledge to generate impactful business, marketing, and communication ideas.
- Initiate, guide, and, where appropriate, help implement relevant research at any stage of the marketing and communication cycle.
- Analyse research findings and other data within the context of business, marketing, and communication strategies, transforming them into actionable insights to shape communication strategies and project briefs.
- Collaborate with diverse agency partners to focus and inspire the creation of original and effective marketing and communication ideas.
- Utilize strong writing and presentation skills for internal engagement and the development of external content.
- Partner with Events teams and the business on events strategy for the audience, and the delivery of strategic client forums and executive briefings that highlight segment and sector leadership
Optimize Marketing Operations
- Effectively manage priorities and multitude of senior leadership stakeholders, to ensure delivery of strategy across our key objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer-centricity and collaboration throughout the planning, decision-making, and implementation process.
- Effectively manage agency strategic counterparts to maximize service delivery.
- Break down informational silos to ensure business decisions are based on the entire story and empower data-driven decision making to raise our returns
Strengthen Teamwork Collaboration
- Embrace an agile working culture that fosters proactive problem-solving and the formulation of scalable business initiatives to optimize marketing budgets.

To be successful you will need:
- Extensive years of B2B marketing experience, with a focus on B2B marketing within financial services or fintech, and/or experience preferably in agency background.
- Passionate about customer centricity and the latest market trends
- Proven ability to deliver effective marketing strategies and campaigns
- Strong collaboration skills within global, matrixed organizations and the ability to lead working groups and defined initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
