Job description

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Marketing Manager, Client Engagement, Global Private Banking.

 

In this role you will: 

1) Event strategy, leadership and delivery (flagship + bespoke)

  • Lead planning and execution of PB-led and/or cross-business marketing events (e.g., flagship client engagements, investment/insights forums, brand sponsorship, cultural or partnership activations).
  • Own end-to-end event management: concept development, run-of-show, guest journey, RSVP management, venue/vendor coordination, production, compliance/brand checks, and on-site leadership.
  • Build and manage event workback schedules, risk/issue logs, contingency planning, and post-event debriefs to continuously improve delivery.
  • Ensure all events align with Global/ASP/HK Marketing strategy and deliver clear outcomes (engagement, pipeline, acquisition, brand metrics).

2) Digital acquisition, brand, content, campaign execution

  • Plan and execute digital acquisition initiatives to support growth in target segments, including always-on and campaign-based activity.
  • Work with internal partners and agencies to localise and activate campaign assets, content and supporting brand materials across relevant channels.
  • Partner with channel owners and stakeholders to optimise conversion across the funnel (awareness → consideration → lead/registration → follow-up), using performance insights to refine targeting and messaging.

3) Stakeholder management & collaboration (matrix environment)

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams including International Wealth and Premier Banking, Brand & Brand Partnership, Corporate & Institutional Banking, Innovation Banking, Commercial Banking, and other partners as required, in addition to the Private Bank stakeholders.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders; provide clear recommendations, timely updates, and disciplined delivery management.
  • Ensure a client-centric approach throughout planning, decision-making, and execution.

4) Agency and supplier management

  • Manage agencies and suppliers to maximise service quality and value, including onboarding, requisitioning, invoicing and payment processes.
  • Maintain high standards of brand execution and production quality; negotiate scopes and timelines where needed.

5) Measurement, reporting and optimisation

  • Define success metrics and track effectiveness of campaigns and events, ensuring marketing investment is aligned to business outcomes.
  • Provide clear post-campaign/event reporting (what worked, what didn’t, learnings, optimisation actions).

 

To be successful you will need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline, preferably
  • 6+ years’ experience in marketing with strong, proven delivery in event and speaker management; experience leading complex events is essential.
  • Demonstrated capability in digital & content marketing / acquisition (performance mindset, funnel thinking, optimisation based on results).
  • Experience in financial services (especially Private Banking), luxury, or agency environment preferred; strong candidates from other industries considered.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; confident working in a matrix organisation.
  • Fluency in English is a must, Traditional/ Simplified Chinese preferred.
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams at pace.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity.
  • Positive, collaborative team player with high standards and strong ownership.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

What success looks like (first 6–12 months)

  • Flawless delivery of priority PB events with strong stakeholder feedback and measurable outcomes.
  • Tangible uplift in acquisition-related metrics (e.g., qualified leads/registrations, engagement rates), supported by clear reporting and optimisation actions.
  • Strong agency/vendor rhythm (on-time, on-budget, high quality), with improved ways of working and repeatable playbooks.
