Manager, Collaboration and Business Development

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Collaboration and Business Development.

In this role you will:

• Develop and manage relationships between Private Banking and other businesses including Retail Banking, Commercial Banking and Corporate and Institutional Banking in Asia Pacific Region, and within different Private Banking booking centres globally.
• Generate business leads via collaboration with other lines of businesses and other Private Banking booking centres
• Support the on-going collaboration framework and processes to enable cross lines of business collaboration and international connectivity referrals between different Private Banking booking centres.
• Be the subject matter expert on GPB proposition and central point of contact for Relationship Managers in other business groups for Private Banking services, and for Relationship Managers in Private Banking in relation to collaboration with other customer groups, and within different Private Banking booking centres.
• Support the tracking and analysis of referral and collaboration data.
• Champion the “one bank” proposition and equip relationship managers in Private Banking and other lines of businesses to deliver the “one bank” proposition to Private Banking prospects.

To be successful you will need:

• University graduate with solid industry experience, and additional professional qualifications in Finance or Investment discipline will be a plus
• Good knowledge of HSBC Private Banking and Private Wealth Solution proposition
• Skilled at managing internal relationships across business lines and within Private Banking
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to confidently and effectively present ideas internally and externally.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Demonstrate courageous integrity and ability to challenge existing and new practices
• Teamplayer with good stakeholder management skills, and the ability to build and lead the business development team
