Investment Counsellor

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Investment Counsellor.

In this role you will:

• Partner with Relationship Managers to offer investment solutions to clients within client risk profile
• Accountable for assessing client need, developing and communicating a comprehensive portfolio investment strategy, coordinating advice and execution against that strategy, and monitoring performance and appropriateness of the client’s overall investment portfolio against pre-agreed risk profile
• Ensure integrity of sales process and compliance with all HSBC and regulatory policies. Follow HSBC Global Standards in compliance and risk control, and champion HSBC Values

To be successful you will need:

• Extensive knowledge of private banking business, competitive and regulatory environment
• Solid market knowledge and portfolio advisory skills, with strong sales, analytic, technical, teamwork and relationship building skills
• Holder of Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Securities Futures Commission Type 1 and 4, Chartered Financial Analyst or other related qualifications preferred
