We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Investment Analyst, Fixed Income.

This position supports a team of Asia Fixed Income Portfolio Managers in managing portfolios across credit and rates markets by delivering high-quality analytics, performance and risk reporting, trade support, and market/issuer research.

In this role you will: 

  • Support investment processes across portfolio construction, liquidity and risk monitoring
  • Maintain portfolio data, analytics and commentary
  • Coordinate and assist with trade implementation
  • Track macro and market developments across key Asian countries
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure a smooth investment process and timely communication with stakeholders
  • Build and enhance tools in Excel/VBA/Python (as relevant) to reduce manual effort and improve data quality

To be successful you will need:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in asset management, investment analytics, portfolio reporting, risk, or a related buy-side/sell-side role with fixed income exposure.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline (Accounting/Economics preferred).
  • Strong understanding of fixed income instruments and concepts: bond pricing, yield measures, duration/convexity, curve moves, spreads, and basic derivatives awareness (e.g., futures/swaps) is beneficial.
  • Experience working with financial statements and credit metrics (especially suited to accounting backgrounds).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate numbers into clear investment insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to produce crisp commentary for stakeholders.
  • Organised, proactive, and accountable; comfortable managing recurring deliverables and ad-hoc requests.
  • Collaborative working style across Portfolio Management, Trading, Sales, Risk, Operations, and Compliance.
  • Sound judgement and a control-minded approach in a regulated environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets under time pressure.
