Commercial Banking – Business Banking
Hang Seng’s Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies.
For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade and receivables finance, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services. As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Head of Business Growth and Planning, reporting to Head of Business Banking.
Principal responsibilities
- Lead a team to support Head of Business Banking to develop sales strategies that align with Business Banking goals on customer, revenue and product penetration
- Implement comprehensive sales plans by analysing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and optimizing our sales resources
- Drive overall sales productivity by regular review on sales models & processes to enhance efficiency and leading model/procedure revamp projects
- Build effective relationship strategies including customer event collaboration with industry sectors and various strategic partners for strengthening our branding position
- Drive quality customer acquisition by maintaining close and strong partnership with targeted ecosystem or industry sectors
- Drive asset growth through developing a leading digital lending platform with comprehensive commercialization plans
- Manage onboarding team to support seamless account opening process, ensure effective and efficient pre-onboarding risk management
- Deliver structured and timely MI reports for key stakeholders’ attention to the projection, trend and analysis of sales performance and process enhancement
Requirements
- University degree in Finance and Accounting, Economics, Banking, Business Management and related discipline. Professional qualification or higher educational level an advantage
- Significant working experience in banking industry with focus on commercial banking;
- Sound understanding of commercial lending, trade finance, wealth management products, cash management solutions and various banking channels is preferred
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills with customer centricity mindset and dedication to deliver quality services to strategic parties
- Flexible and with ability to multitask in a fast-pasted environment or under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to build effective networks both internally and externally and create opportunities for others to work collaboratively
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage
