We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Employee and Community Program Mgr.

 Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality, cost-effective Employee and Community-related programmes target to increase employee engagement
  • Manage the successful provision of Employee Benefits, i.e. staff offer, holiday houses, Retiree Association, Wayfoong Sports Club Clubhouse, and etc
  • Organise large scale bank wide events and promoting the utilisation of the Wayfoong Clubhouse
  • Promote and coordinate with various stakeholders on Community Chest events and other Charitable activities within the Bank
  • Manage communications for WSC events and services via different internal platforms and channels

 

Major Challenges:

  • Understand and comply to the HSBC Group standards while liaising with external stakeholders on logistics and requirements
  • Able to plan, organise, and successfully delivery bank wide employee programmes and events aligned to the programme objective, budget, and company standards.
  • Strong presentation and communication skill required to work with stakeholders of all levels, e.g. C-Suite, Business Heads, etc.
  • Develop sufficient understanding to be able to exert sound judgement to make decisions on the spot when necessary
  • Requires a solid network both internally and externally to help propose full-year/quarterly lead by team mates.
  • Engendering a true sense of urgency, pace, community and collaboration across indirectly managed areas across the COO community.

 

Requirement /Qualification :

  • University (BA) or (BS) in Event Management / Communication / Marketing
  • Demonstrated event organisation knowledge, ideally to have experience in coordinating of large scale internal and/or external events involving vendors
  • Ideally to have experience in managing community and donation events
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees of different levels (e.g. junior staff, C-Suite, etc.)
  • Ability to manage and mitigate various types of risk effectively (e.g. operational risk)
  • Knowledge of the external environment and latest trends from FI and Non-FI
  • Flexible and adaptable being able to handle and prioritise multiple and competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Good verbal and written communications skills required in English, other language abilities are advantageous
  • Comprehensive ability to use Word, Power Point, Excel, MS Teams, SharePoint
