Discretionary and Funds Product Specialist

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Discretionary and Funds Product Specialist.
In this role you will:
- Increase the private bank's share of discretionary and mutual funds assets by providing a solid client-focused platform
- Provide best in class internal and external client-focused support, marketing, and aftersales activities, on an effective, efficient and compliant infrastructure
- Support Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors in discretionary and mutual funds investment proposals.
- Work closely with portfolio managers to build assets into the discretionary programs
- Undertake and lead business related projects
- Be a culture carrier and brand ambassador for HSBC
To be successful you will need:
- Extensive experience in managed solutions, in Wealth Management and/or Asset Management Industry
- Excellent communication skill including ability to present complex financial concepts and strategies
- Strong knowledge across asset classes, portfolio construction and portfolio management
- Proficient in business computer applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strategic thinking, good business acumen and strong risk mindset
- A good team player
- Bachelor or graduate degree is required
- Ability to converse in Mandarin and Cantonese in business setting will be an added advantage
