Global Markets is part of our HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking division, a markets-led, financing-focused business that provides investment and financial solutions. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Director, Asia Equity Finance and Delta One Sales.

Job Profile 

A position is available for an ambitious hard working individual who is prepared to join a team covering Equity Finance & Delta One / Prime products.

The candidate should have a strong quantitative background, experience in equities & experienced in selling prime products to institutional clients.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Primarily responsible for distribution of Prime and Equity Finance products with a focus on Swaps & Securities Lending.
• Key point of contact for Institutional Clients, working closely internal stakeholders including Electronic Execution, Trading, Risk, Compliance and Legal function.
• Act as an effective senior team member, including contribution to enterprise projects.
• Strictly adhere to all relevant risk management and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• University Degree or advanced qualifications and equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in within Equity Finance Sales, preferably with a focus on Swaps & Securities Lending
• Strong connectivity and relationships within the relevant Institutional client universe
• Strong understanding of Markets and Securities Services business and ability to work in a matrix organization
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
• Understanding of all relevant risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements
