Commercial Banking Bond Management (CBBM) team is responsible for driving the bond financing business for investment grade relationships. 

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Commercial Banking Bond Management Officer , reporting to Senior Commercial Banking Bond Management Manager.

Principal responsibilities

• Perform bond market research/analysis to justify investment decisions;
• Prepare pre-transaction checklist and liaise with various Coverage teams and Debt Capital Market Origination team on transactional due diligence work;
• Provide support during live transaction (e.g. order placing and system inputs) to CBBM team;
• Follow up on settlement and post-transaction checking;
• Compile bond portfolio related reports, including financial reporting, management reporting, and deal performance statistics among other ad hoc reports;
• Provide general administrative support and support to ad hoc management actions.

Requirements

• University Graduate in Banking, Finance or relevant disciplines;
• Not less than 3 years of experience in investment market, of which at least 1 year in Fixed Income products;  
• Possess (or able to attain) Type 1 & 4 regulated activities licenses;
• Proven ability to develop trusted dialogues with stakeholders;
• Knowledge of HSBC Group/HASE products;
• Able to make sound decisions and work under pressure;
• Open to change with ability to influence and engage in positive manners;
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese;
• Develop and maintain ‘trusted’ relationship with assigned current and target internal clients.
