We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager, HSBC Expat.
- To deepen work relationships with improved acquisition/referrals rates of Expat customers
- To own the development of relationships with key internal contacts, external firms to develop business opportunities
- Responsible for working with market teams to analyse Expat growth opportunities, initiate activity and drive ongoing engagement to achieve overall growth objectives.
- Works in collaboration with the Business Performance team to assess and identify key business challenges and opportunities relating to the Expat customer portfolio, specifically around acquisition and onboarding.
- Analyse the Expat customer strategy and performance to make recommendations to increase customer acquisition, customer revenue whilst still enabling delivery on the customer values of fairness and simplicity.
- Work with markets teams to provide guidance and advice on the delivery of the Expat proposition to target customers, providing required input, support, sharing of best practice and oversight.
To be successful you will need:
- Solid years’ of experience in retail/corporate banking
- Exposure and previous experience with multiculture and relationship management
- Solid business development and client relationship management experience
- Strong knowledge of the external environment with expertise in International including regulatory, political, economic, and competitors.
- Both spoken and written English communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered. Fluency in Cantonese would be an advantage but not essential.
