The Opportunity:

  • Credit and Capital Management COO (CCM COO) adopted a Value Stream model as part of the Group-wide Digital Acceleration Programme.
  • The CCM COO Value Stream is responsible for delivering high priority programmes to simplify, digitise at scale and automate the credit and lending journey, as well as supporting the creation of a new, globally consistent credit and lending organisation serving the CIB Business line which collectively build towards our vision of becoming a leader in digitally enabled domestic and cross border lending across network, by improving customer experience generating competitive advantage through use of data and participation in emerging borrowing models.
  • The Value Stream construct allows us to focus on a single set of aligned objectives, collaborating to deliver our target architecture while maintaining the effective delivery of credit and lending services.
  • CCM COO Reporting & Engagement aims to deliver a more connected and informed Value Stream through effective channel management, timely reporting, and comprehensive engagement strategies. We endeavor to provide the right information to the right stakeholders on the right platforms at the right times, ensuring that all employees within the value stream are correctly engaged and kept up to speed on CCM developments. This better enables informed decision making and drives our key initiatives to create impactful results.
  • This role is focused on managing centralized Reporting across CCM through oversight and creation of dashboarding and data platforms and materials to connect, inform, and engage.

 

Key Responsibilities

The Associate Director will be responsible for:     

  • Owning centralised reporting across the CCM COO Value Stream, including the end-to-end production of dashboards, reporting packs and performance updates for senior stakeholders.
  • Defining and maintaining a consistent MI framework (KPI catalogue, metric definitions, data standards, reporting cadence and governance) to ensure a single source of truth across CCM.
  • Partnering with initiative leads and functional teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into clear, decision-useful dashboards and insights.
  • Consolidating MI from multiple sources (e.g., SharePoint, Jira, Confluence and BI dashboards) to provide timely, accurate and well-controlled reporting.
  • Delivering insightful analysis and commentary on progress, trends, risks, dependencies and delivery health, with clear actions and recommendations for leadership.
  • Recommending MI tools and driving reporting automation/standardisation to reduce manual effort and improve speed, quality and consistency of reporting.
  • Establishing data quality controls (validation checks, reconciliations, issue logging and remediation tracking) to improve reliability and auditability of reporting outputs.
  • Supporting governance forums with high-quality reporting materials (e.g., QBRs and other Value Stream forums), ensuring packs are consistent, accurate and delivered to deadlines.
  • Working with the OKR lead to ensure timely collection, validation and reporting of L1 OKRs and indicators across the Value Stream, including exception-based reporting.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships across CCM, CIB and operational support teams to drive adoption of standard dashboards, reporting definitions and ways of working.

  • The Associate Director, Resource and Finance will work with senior management and programme sponsors.

  • Data service providers
  • Software, data and service vendors
  • The Associate Director, Resource and Finance will interact equally with senior management of stakeholder groups and line staff as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerBI.
  • Experience with project and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with creative platforms (Adobe suite, Figma etc.) is a plus. 
  • Experience with email platforms is a plus.

  • Good understanding of financial services
