Assistant Manager, Business Performance and Commercial Execution (3 months contract)

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Business Performance and Commercial Execution  (3 Months Contract). 

In this role you will:

• Support execution of business initiatives aligned to agreed priorities, translating plans into clear actions, owners, milestones, and timelines.
• Track delivery progress across initiatives, maintaining a consolidated view of status, risks, dependencies, and next steps.
• Monitor performance by defining and maintaining KPIs/OKRs, dashboards, and regular reporting packs (weekly/monthly) to show progress against targets.
• Commercial execution support: coordinate go-to-market or commercial activities (e.g., campaigns, pipeline actions, client engagement support) and track outcomes.
• Stakeholder coordination across product, sales, operations, finance, and change teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Data and insight: analyse performance drivers, produce concise insights, and recommend actions to improve results.

To be successful you will need:

• Strong analytical skills: comfortable working with KPIs, trends, and performance drivers; able to turn data into clear actions.

• Delivery mindset: proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Stakeholder management: confident working with senior and cross-functional stakeholders; clear, concise written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail with strong governance habits
• Commercial awareness: understanding of commercial banking is beneficial
• Self-starter: able to onboard quickly and work with ambiguity
