We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Investment Operations Manager (ETF Operations).
Principal Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end operations for different ETF products including creation/ redemption order for primary market, ensure timely trade settlements and response to related client inquiries
- Ensure any issues related to trade matching and failed settlement are settled and resolved timely with external counterparties.
- Understand and oversight all aspects of the daily NAV calculations including fee calculation, Portfolio Composition File (PCF) and IOPV calculations, complex financial instructions, document reviews and update of Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs)
- Manage and support interim/ annual audits, financial statements preparation and ongoing regulatory reporting requirements.
- Participate in new projects or fund launch, work closely with internal stakeholders and conduct UAT to actual implementation.
- Work with technology teams to translate operational requirements into system improvements and business needs.
- Optimize and standardize operational workflows to reduce risks, improve controls and enhance efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in custody or fund operations, specifically with Mutual/ETF products, asset management company is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of financial markets.
- In-depth understanding of the ETF lifecycle, with strong expertise in creation and redemption mechanics, NAV calculation.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and collaborate effectively across functions and teams to deliver the best outcome for the company.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective communication with different stakeholders for business outcomes.
