Through Agriculture SME our global network offers comprehensive support and services to businesses in the SME market. From expanding overseas to managing the cash and trade flows of an established enterprise, the Agriculture SME team of Relationship Managers and Product Specialists provides a range of end-to- end solutions designed to help small and large businesses reach their potential.
We are currently seeking a driven and commercially minded individual to join this team in the role of Agriculture Relationship Manager.
In this role you will:
- Optimise the existing relationships by assisting in the delivery of solutions, products, and services appropriate to meet customer needs.
- Build a network of business introducers in the business community, and seeking new opportunities and nurturing existing relationships to identify new business opportunities.
- Adhere to structures and processes in place for the management of credit, operational, reputation, financial crime and regulatory risk.
- Drive revenue growth through understanding customer needs and by adopting a needs-based approach which engages clients and increases new business.
- Deepen understanding of the client through pro-active credit risk assessments and customer due diligence reviews.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Proven Commercial lending experience is essential with a good understanding of financial accounts being a prerequisite.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing others, negotiating effectively is essential.
- Experience building effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same, and experience leading the delivery of excellent customer service.
- A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes.
- Agricultural knowledge is advantageous, but not essential.
*Please note: This role can be based at either the Hamilton, Canterbury, Kent or Belfast office. The successful applicant will be required to spend at least 3 days a week at this location or out visiting clients. Hybrid working is available, but the role holder will need to live within a commutable distance of the aforementioned office. A small amount of travel will be required for meetings and collaboration.
