This role is primarily accountable for outbound client sales and deposit gathering. The role will also engage in satisfying client reviews and complete product renewals and maintenance as applicable. This sales support function is responsible for the coordination and completion of key sales and operational activities and may also be required to provide regulatory expertise and risk management assistance to avoid client exits. The main responsibility includes outreach to clients without a named Relationship Manager in support of deepening, growing, and maintaining the client’s relationship post onboarding.

As our US Contact Center Premier Specialist, you will:

  • Utilize a lead-based approach through HSBC’s Client Relationship Management tool to engage clients
  • Most activity will be proactive client outreach but may also include handling appointments booked by clients
  • Interact with clients via phone, email, pre-booked appointments, and Zoom calls
  • Generate new business referral opportunities for Wealth Centre, Wealth Direct, Mortgage, and Private Bank
  • Communicate HSBC Group international capabilities and benefits in servicing cross-border banking needs through clear, professional discussions that adhere to Cross-Border rules
  • Increase share of wallet with clients through focused outbound calling, using a lead-based approach to client management
  • Identify opportunities using a structured sales process, including appropriate analysis and preparation of presentations and pitches for additional products/services
  • Prepare properly for client interactions, including reviewing client profiles and notes ahead of discussions
  • Offer value-added products and services based on client needs analysis, and ensure clients understand those products and services
