Reporting directly to the Regional Head of GPS Operations, US - this is a people leadership role overseeing a team of onshore direct reports and a large offshore team in Mexico and India. This leader will drive performance, consistency, and transformation across critical payment channels that directly impact client satisfaction and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead payment operations (HVP/Wires and RTP), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a client-first service model.
  • Oversee daily operations, governance, and control frameworks across onshore and offshore teams.
  • Partner with technology, product, and risk to enhance payment resiliency, automation, and end-to-end transparency.
  • Drive process optimization and continuous improvement to improve efficiency and client experience.
  • Champion transformation initiatives supporting modernization of payment platforms and real-time capabilities.
  • Represent operations in internal governance and regulatory engagements (OCC, FRB, FDIC).
  • Develop and inspire a high-performing team culture focused on accountability, innovation, and client service excellence.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in payment operations, with deep expertise in Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT, RTP, ISO20022
  • Proven people leader with experience managing onshore and offshore teams.
  • Strong understanding of payment controls, risk management, and client service delivery.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational transformation and large-scale change.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Robust understanding of Payment Product G-Suite (GMG/GPE/GPI), including end-to-end flows
  • Knowledge of US Payment Transparency, FATF, and Travel Rule requirements
