We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Sales Manager, Corporates, GPS.
This is an exciting opportunity to drive revenue for the Group by originating leads, building and maintaining strategic relationships with new and existing clients to identify and sell innovative cash, cards and clearing management solutions to the corporate segment.

In this role you’ll:
- Manage a portfolio of complex client relationships to grow existing revenues, and generate new income for HSBC from both clients and prospects across the GPS product suite domestically and internationally with corporates across the Southwest of England and Wales
- Broaden and deepening client relationships and developing new business through ideas & solutions, including visiting client’s premises to conduct meetings
- Customer plan and monitor/contact as part of the CMB client planning process
- Work with key stakeholders including, but not limited to CMB, Product Development, Client Management to ensure a positive client experience
- Share success and narrative with management and stakeholders and highlighting any challenges
- Maintain close liaison with key stakeholders to provide input to the strategic direction of the business, share key insights and the functionality and launch of new products and services
- Continually reassess the Sales process through to implementation and working closely with other stakeholders to identify efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering good customer outcomes
- Manage costs within plan and keeping losses to a minimum. Ensuring all requests for operational losses/refunds, travel, out of plan expenditure, hospitality events etc. are appropriate and correctly authorized
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience in a Sales or Business Development role
- Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services
- Proven experience of developing and executing business opportunities to meet client needs and deliver commercially
- Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Global Payment Solutions/Transaction Banking
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities, focus on delivery and management of stakeholders
- Proven experience of leading the delivery of an excellent customer experience and proactively looking for innovative ways to improve the proposition delivered to customers
- Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively
- Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Certificate of International Cash Management, ACT would be advantageous
