We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join HSBC UK Risk and Compliance in the role of Team Support Assistant.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter to join HSBC UK Risk and Compliance as a Team Support Assistant to facilitate smooth team operations by managing administrative tasks, coordinating and supporting collaborative efforts to enhance organisational efficiency across the function. You will exercise confidentiality, tact and work diplomatically to balance multiple competing priorities.

In this role you will:

  • Provide administrative support and cover for Executive Assistants during leave.
  • Organise and coordinate internal/external meetings offsites and events, including logistics, remote management and hosting visiting Non-Executive Directors.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, prepare travel itineraries and process related expenses.
  • Proactively resolve administrative issues and support Ad-Hoc activities to ensure smooth department operations.
  • Maintain accurate records, files and databases in line with company policies and confidentiality requirements, while supporting compliance activities such as Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and third-party risk management processes and engagement.

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experience as an Executive Assistant and/or in a Business Management role, ideally within HSBC or a similar environment, and a strong understanding of HSBC Group’s culture, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management experience, with outstanding interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and support multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills, with proven ability to prioritise and manage time and tasks methodically in fast-changing or pressurised environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant bank systems (such as Fusion and Travel).
