We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Regional Protective Security Technology Support Manager .
Protective Security (PS) is responsible for protecting our people, buildings, and assets. We achieve this through the deployment of physical and electronic countermeasures, strong risk management practices, and collaboration with internal stakeholders, vendors, and law enforcement.
The Regional PS Technology Support Manager will play a key role in delivering HSBC’s protective security technology strategy, supporting day-to-day operations, governance, and project delivery across the UK and Europe.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with internal teams, third-party suppliers, and the branch network to deliver effective protective security solutions, ensuring compliance with HSBC Group policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

In this role you will:
• Manage BAU projects end-to-end, including planning, briefing calls, and delivery.
• Lead large-scale technology upgrades and pilot initiatives across the branch network.
• Support governance processes including regulatory data handling, Helios remediation, and Data Visa requirements.
• Assist in audits (e.g., PwC audits of data centres) where PS controls fall in scope.
• Act as Third Party Engagement Manager for regional/national contracts, managing vendor relationships, escalations, and performance.
• Provide expertise in security technology systems such as access control, CCTV, video surveillance, intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, Genesys, PSIM, and other security platforms.
• Collaborate with regional and global PS teams to deliver strategic initiatives and support software development/automation across the PS estate.
• Support risk management activities, ensuring controls are effective and aligned with HSBC’s framework.
• Lead and coordinate project calls, ensuring stakeholder alignment and timely delivery.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Demonstrable experience with security platforms, and branch network operations.
• Hands-on expertise with electronic security systems –access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and alarm monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of protective security principles, risk and controls and change management.
• Proven project management experience across multiple markets, delivering complex projects under tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of risk management, governance, and audit frameworks.
• Technology upgrade experience managing large-scale rollouts and enhancements.
• Experience in Third-party management – oversight of outsourced vendors, supplier governance, performance management, and escalations.
• Contract management experience, skilled in vendor contracts, negotiations, and compliance monitoring.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across business and technical teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
This role is based in UK Hybrid.
