We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Regional Protective Security Access Control Manager.

Protective Security (PS) is responsible for protecting our people,  Protective Security (PS) safeguards people, buildings, and assets across HSBC through physical and electronic countermeasures, governance, and partnerships with technology, third parties, and regulators.
This role leads the Access Control function for the UK and Europe, including team management, financial/capital planning, access system governance, incident management, and vendor oversight, ensuring compliance with Group PS, Technology, and regulatory requirements.

In this role you will:

• Lead and manage the Access Control team, including governance of PIAM/PAC systems, SES devices, and Genesys platforms.
• Oversee financial planning, budget management, and 12-month capital planning in line with HSBC policies.
• Act as Third Party Engagement Manager (TPEM) for contracts, ensuring service delivery, compliance, and vendor performance.
• Ensure governance and compliance across access control processes, including remediation of Data Visa and Helios issues.
• Lead incident management for access control and technology systems in partnership with Technology Support Managers.
• Drive product management and continuous improvement of access control platforms and digital security applications..
 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 • Financial and budget management expertise.
• Product management experience.
• Strong knowledge of risk and control, risk management, and governance.
• Demonstrable expertise in access control technologies and protective security systems.
• Experience in technology incident management and resolution.
• Genesys (or equivalent telephony system) knowledge.
• Line management and third-party/vendor oversight.
• Change management and delivery of process improvements.
Desirable
• Experience delivering security projects to tight timescales.
• Knowledge of HSBC Group policies and FIM frameworks.
• Familiarity with regional regulatory requirements for Protective Security.
• Experience working across multiple markets and matrix organisations.


This role is based in UK Hybrid.
