We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Marketing Manager. This is a brand new role and we are looking for someone who is passionate about translating business objectives to a marketing strategy. We are on a journey to create compelling propositions which delight our customers and satisfy the commercial needs of our stakeholders, that in time we want to talk about in a way that drives our brand power metrics.  You will Partner closely with the business and act as their ‘gateway into marketing’, understanding the business strategic and commercial priorities and translate them into marketing strategy and plans

In this role you will:

  • Partner with the business to commercialise existing and new product and proposition launches - working on market positioning and strategy, briefing into the centres of excellence for delivery of marketing communications, campaigns and channels
  • Support the creation of our marketing strategies and annual plans 
  • Support the development of our brand strategy with the Marketing Communications COE – shaping who our target market is and how we want to position ourselves  
  • Manage the budget for WPB marketing and input into commercial decisions about how to prioritise resources and marketing investment across the business, brand, and partnerships
  • Track performance and commercial impact of marketing to ensure the needs of the business being met

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong marketing strategy and planning experience within Financial Services
  • A balance of commercial and customer focus and ability to make balanced decisions in line with relevant customer and commercial strategies and principles.
  • An analytical, strategic, and pragmatic thinker; whilst pushing boundaries bringing innovative ideas to the plan.
  • A great influencer; building relationships, inspiring and gaining trust at all levels and across all functions.
  • Proven experience of managing multiple projects and activities systematically in line with business priorities, using a variety of analysis and problem solving techniques

 

This is a hybrid role is based and can be based in Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield or Chester
