Our Wealth and Personal Banking business supports millions of individuals, families, business owners, investors and entrepreneurs worldwide. We provide products and services that include current accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as savings, investments, insurance and wealth management. We also have specialised relationship managers who support customers with bespoke requirements, including high net worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
We are currently seeking an experienced and ambitious individual to join as the Head of Digital Commercialisation. As the Head of Digital Commercialisation, you will be responsible for leading sustainable customer & commercial growth across the digital channels for HSBC UK retail banking products. You would also lead a team of Digital Experience Managers.
The role holder will work with a range of stakeholders - including business outcome owners, design, product, and transformation – across the UK and Group to drive commercial outcomes.

In this role you will:

Set, and execute, the strategic visison for digital commercialisation across all channels including the mobile app and website.

Generate and consume data to identify customer and commercial opportunities, and design initiatives aligned with business strategies.

Drive and manage initiatives through partner teams across the organisation,

Lead the tracking of digital commercial performance for the UK, providing regular updates on progress and addressing areas of opportunity.

Operate and influence across a range of stakeholders within WPB and Global Digital partners.

Manage the UK Digital Commercialisation team, optimally allocating capacity to drive customer and commercial growth.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Experience of working within an agile, digital environment with demonstrable success in creating, and executing on, strategic plans.

Experience driving commercial growth across a range of products, ideally in financial services.

Skilled at identifying solutions to challenging problems and using your knowledge and judgement to achieve positive results.

Strong analytical abilities paired with excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information in a clear, structured, and data-driven manner.

Able to influence, challenge, and prioritise accordingly to ensure business & customer outcomes are met.

Previous leadership experience, including people management, in disciplines such as digital, marketing or change management skills motivating and inspiring others to excel

Experience of building effective networks internally and externally, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
This is a hybrid working role with the base location as London, Birmingham or Leeds.
