In this role you will:
- Actively provide Resilience Risk Steward input of change initiatives, in partnership with the Resilience Risk Specialist teams.
- Support with management of HSBC UK Change Execution Risk in relation to internal control effectiveness.
- Review and Challenge applicable Change Execution items in line with Risk Steward responsibilities.
- Portfolio level oversight of HSBC UK Transformation Portfolio by providing change execution risk expertise, advice, guidance and challenge including understanding the impact of Transformation on the HSBC UK Resilience Risk profile.
- Undertake qualitative 2LOD analysis of Change Delivery reporting, targeted deep-dives and prepare opinion papers on key risks identified that will be presented through applicable internal governance and drive actions required.
- Working with key change management stakeholders in HSBC UK including, HSBC UK Change Execution, Group Transformation / Investment & Execution Oversight, relevant Programme Managers and Sponsors; Enterprise Risk teams including Resilience Risk Specialists and the Risk Steward community.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Prior change background related to Resilience Risk with sound understanding of the Risk Management Framework.
- Experience in dealing with complex problems by adopting a pragmatic approach, identifying, and prioritising core requirements and translating them into a clear set of required activities that address the problem and achieve the desired outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Develop compelling and logically structured presentations and papers that are clear and concise.
- Build and maintain effective relationships internal and external to Enterprise Risk Management.
This role is based in Birmingham on a hybrid working basis.
