Our business architecture team acts as the functional custodian for Private Banking and Wealth and Premier Solutions, translating proposition strategy into technology-enabled solutions that deliver measurable client and business value. You’ll partner with the EMEA business architecture team to define the target operating model, business capability map, and end-to-end customer and process journeys aligned to the regional strategy. In this role you’ll:

  • Support various domains and Private Banking and Wealth and Premier Solutions markets to align their business strategies with the appropriate solution via clear choice assessment and business architecture design
  • Support documentation of business strategic vision (goals, products, target customer groups etc.) and develop key artifacts, including customer journeys, capability maps, and business architecture, aligning business strategies with operational elements such as process, people, and technology
  • Analyse current state against target state architecture to identify gaps and opportunities to help develop innovative solutions for business challenges
  • Collaborate with technology architects and the business to support Private Banking and Wealth and Premier Solutions markets’ alignment to the future state architecture
  • Support EMEA business architecture leadership in ensuring that business architecture is well documented and communicated, ensuring change activity is informed by target business and operating models
  • Support domains and business teams with architecture decisions required to progress delivery of new capabilities at pace, whilst helping drive open and honest communication with key stakeholders, ensuring all available options are considered and key design decisions are informed

  • Collaborate with Business Architecture teams in other business lines as required and technology architecture teams

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • A strong ability to grasp complex business and technology problems
  • Analytical skills to derive insights from large amounts of imperfect data and information
  • Problem-solving abilities to identify gaps and opportunities to help develop innovative solutions for business challenges

  • Awareness of the purpose, culture and fundamentals of business architecture
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, and is proactive in delivering results independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience working across business, data, process, and organisational architecture and design
