As part of the UK Marketing function, the Paid Media team is the centre of excellence supporting all the UK units of the bank (HSBC, First Direct, M&S Bank, Commercial Bank), using digital channels to drive customer applications and sales across a wide range of products – primarily credit cards, loans, current accounts, insurance and mortgages. The team manages campaigns across display, paid search, paid social and affiliate channels and works closely with the Digital team who lead on website optimisation, analytics, and journey optimisation.
We are seeking a highly analytical and tech-savvy Adtech & Analytics Solution Manager to lead the development, implementation, and optimisation of our marketing technology stack. You will play a key part in bridging marketing, data, and technology to deliver data-driven performance insights, improve campaign measurement, and ensure our AdTech infrastructure supports business growth.

In this role you will:
- Own and manage the AdTech stack (e.g., CM360, DV360, GMP, Meta Pixel, Floodlight tags, GA4, GTM, TCF2.2 compliance, etc.)
- Oversee tag management and implementation, ensuring proper tracking and data collection across all paid and owned media.
- Work closely with paid media, global data and Martech, and web teams to align data strategies and ensure end-to-end campaign tracking and attribution.
- Lead the integration of new AdTech tools and evaluate vendor solutions to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure digital channel performance is fully optimised & and proactively identify opportunities for further growth
- Reporting and Analysis- Utilising data from integrated systems to generate reports, track campaign performance, and identify areas for improvement.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience in an AdTech, Martech or Web Analytics role within a digital-first or performance marketing environment.
- Strong knowledge of tagging and tracking frameworks (GTM, GA4, Floodlight, Meta Pixel, etc.)
- Experience with Google Marketing Platform and programmatic platforms (DV360, CM360, SA360).
- Familiarity with SQL, BigQuery, or similar tools for querying large datasets is a plus..
- Experience in leverage audience segments and 1st party data via Customer Data Platform (direct experience on Tealium Audience Stream a plus) or Data Management Platforms
- Strong collaboration, project management and communication skills: the role requires constant alignment with key stakeholders and the ability to influence decisions
This is a hybrid role, based in Birmingham or Leeds
