We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
  • Communicating new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers
  • Proactively identifying sales opportunities and developing these opportunities
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the bank
  • Participating in events, initiatives and activities to develop business opportunities
  • Protecting the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile whilst deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews
  • As a senior trade sales, mainly serve large local and foreign enterprises, including complex customer groups, , and provide relevant trade solutions for enterprises overseas and domestically.
  • Provide complex and structured trade solutions according to customer needs
  • Devising plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets
  • Enable our clients’ transition to net-zero and capitalise on sustainability as a commercial opportunity
  • Orchestrate the best-in-class client experience of HSBC propositions and solutions



 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • Minimum of ten years proven and progressive business development, sales management, and credit experience or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in business, related field, or equivalent experience
  • People management experience
  • Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, communication, teamwork and influencing skills
  • Extensive knowledge and proven sales success with the Bank's products and services, or equivalent
  • Understanding of local operating markets and their corresponding span(s) of control within assigned region
  • Experience of driving strategic change in a matrix environment
