In this role, you will:
- Be upgrading, maintaining and supporting the z/OS operating system
- Be upgrading, maintaining and supporting ISV products particularly from the vendors; IBM and Broadcom
- Provide production support
- Global Product engineering to develop global technical solutions for HSBC’s mainframe domain across multiple regions and countries using agile methodology
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Advanced experience of mainframe systems programming.
- Knowledge of a combination z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL.
- You will be required to provide off hours support for the implementation of software changes and support for other projects requiring software expertise as well as be part of an on-call rota.
- Knowledge of IBM and CA Products and be able to work independently
