SVP, Custody Operations Head

Responsibilities:

• To provide senior management oversight for operations of Custody Operations including Clearing and Settlement and Billing/Utility team.
• To be responsible and accountable for rolling out, executing and monitoring strategy to enhance and deliver per set objectives.
• To act as escalation point for issues raised from day-to-day operations of Custody Operations and escalated in a timely manner if require further escalation.
• To ensure effective risk and control management to ensure compliance of all internal and external requirements.
• To liaise with the regulators and self regulated organizations i.e. The Stock Exchange of Thailand, The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), The Association of Investment Management Companies (AIMC), The Bank of Thailand (BOT) and the Revenue Department to ensure the compliance of rules and regulations and market changes all the time.
• Ensure high quality of services are delivered to customers at all time and customers’ interests are fully protected.
• Motivate subordinates and consistently improve staff performance as well as help and support when problems arise.
• Ensure an effective Operational Risk Management process is in place to reduce the level of operational risk losses and to protect HSBC Thailand from foreseeable future.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related fields.
• Experience in securities services products in Banking or Financial Services is a great plus.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Proven of strong leadership experience
