Description
- Very good understanding of the local & international payment infrastructure, customer's requirements in payments and structure the appropriate solution
- Responsible for the performance and profitability of Payments products & services by forming strategies and campaigns to improve profitability
- Developing and managing payment products & services to meet the market needs and contribute towards the overall GPS objectives
- Ensure that all Payments products comply with applicable local regulations, HSBC group policies and internal procedures
- Manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and demanding timelines.
- Maintain and manage the overall GPS risk and control profile (process maps, risk/control inventories, control design and operating effectiveness).
- Support governance forums (e.g., risk committees, product governance, change governance) with concise papers and recommendations.
- Drive root cause analysis, corrective action plans, owners, dates, and closure evidence.
- Coordinate responses to internal audit, external audit and regulatory requests relevant to GPS.
- Ensure an effective Operational Risk Management process is in place to avoid/ reduce the level of operational risk issues/losses
- Maintain effective and engaging relationships with different stakeholders within and outside the organization
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Cash Management Area. Experience preferable in the area of product management and risk management
- Possesses complex project management skills.
- Strong knowledge of Payments related product sets of HSBC and competitors
- Strong knowledge of Cash Management and how Payments complement other components under Cash Management and overall banking needs of clients
- Ability to meet challenging budget and to work under high pressure environment
- Analytical capability to interpret MI, spot trends, and prioritise remediation.
- Attention to detail and a strong “control mindset” (if it isn’t evidenced, it didn’t happen).
- Demonstrated ability to interact, communicate, negotiate and convince effectively at all levels both internally and externally
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English. Fluency in both English and Thai is mandatory
