We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Finance Transformation.
 
Purpose:
The current open position is in HSBC Financial Accounting team to support the Transformation agenda of Germany Branch which entail adopting ledger and define target operating model to suit the requirement of Global consistency for accounting aligned to Group policy and compliance expectations.
 
In this role, you will:
  • Support design of the target state aligned to global Finance solutions and processes. 
  • Support the planning, build and execution of the onboarding plan for Germany processes onto Finance global processes where applicable. 
  • Coordinate cross-FinOps activities to ensure operational readiness and smooth transition of processes where applicable. 
  • Liaise with global Finance stakeholders to confirm the group standard operating processes 
  • Contribute to operating model impact assessments (process, governance, controls, service model). 
  • Ability to analyze and review processes, identifying automation and simplification opportunities and drive transformation agenda. Drive change initiatives within the process
  • Understanding of control frameworks and how to implement effective controls in practice.;
  • Ability to deal with and analyse unstructured problems and queries and to question and challenge existing procedures.
 
To be successful you will:
  • Professional Chartered Accountant with 14+ years of experience predominantly in Finance, including in leadership positions managing complex requirements from senior stakeholders
  • Strong experience and understanding across Finance accounting and reporting process knowledge (end-to-end Finance operations and controls). 
  • Experience delivering change in a transformation environment (operating model and/or migration delivery). 
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to drive outcomes across multiple teams. 
  • Experience of operating in senior governance forums, handling auditors
  • Strong formal written reporting skills and experience of drafting papers for Board-level audience. Experience in designing, implementing and validating the effectiveness of process controls
