We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Subject Matter Expert.

In this role, you will:

  • To prepare/review accurate Reconciliations packs of Alternative / Traditional fund portfolios on timely basis with expected quality. Will be responsible for ensuring quality control for several portfolios of Alternative / Traditional funds for multiple locations.
  • Ensure that support rollout of new products / activities is within Reconciliations’ scope. Responsible for supporting Fund Services - Reconciliations, covering Europe / MENA / APAC for single or multiple clients.
  • Role comprises 80% of technical aspects which include reviewing and implementing process related controls and 20% comprises of activities such as training.
  • Role will be of individual contributor in nature and will not have team reporting to the role.

 

To be successful you will:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce or qualifications in accounting/finance industry or relevant experience. Strong working knowledge on MS Office.
  • Excellent knowledge in reconciliations process with accounting principles and fundamentals of accounting. Basic knowledge in custody, brokerage, depository, investment accounting, mutual funds and reconciliations.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate (written / oral) in English.

Additional skills:

  • Knowledge of Derivatives Instruments. Working knowledge of Bloomberg / Reuters, other reconciliation and accounting applications used across industry
  • Detailed understanding of end-to-end product and process, multiple market and regulations pertaining to the fund services industry.
