We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director – Asset Servicing Technology – Data and Digital Propositions Lead in CIB Tech – Securities Services & Digital Assets Technology department.
Asset Servicing (Corporate Actions processing) is entering an important phase of technology-led transformation. This role offers the opportunity to shape how data, digital capability, automation and Artificial Intelligence improve both client and operational experience across the Asset Servicing business.
As the Data and Digital Propositions Lead, you’ll define and deliver propositions that make it easier for clients and colleagues to access, exchange and act on accurate information. You’ll help reduce manual activity across operations and technology, improve transparency and reporting, strengthen operational resilience, and create scalable digital capabilities that support future growth.
Working across Asset Servicing, Technology, Operations, Product, Data, Risk and Control teams, you’ll turn business challenges into practical, measurable solutions. The role will suit an experienced transformation leader who can connect strategic ambition with delivery discipline—and who understands that good data is not merely a reporting asset; it’s the fuel for better decisions and better experiences.
- Own the data and digital proposition strategy for Asset Servicing (Corporate Actions processing), aligning priorities to client needs, business objectives, operational resilience and sustainable growth.
- Identify, shape and deliver technology-led business transformation opportunities across Asset Servicing, including process redesign, workflow automation, data remediation, digital servicing and client experience improvement.
- Develop and maintain a prioritised roadmap for data and digital capabilities, such as enhanced client reporting, data exchange, application programming interface connectivity, workflow digitisation and self-service propositions.
- Lead the identification, assessment and implementation of Artificial Intelligence use cases for Asset Servicing (Corporate Actions processing), including but not limited to unstructured data processing, data quality improvement across clients and internal teams, operational support, exception management, workflow optimisation and client servicing.
- Establish a disciplined approach to Artificial Intelligence delivery, covering use-case selection, data readiness, business case development, responsible use, governance, implementation, adoption and benefits realisation.
- Partner with business, product, operations, architecture, engineering, data, risk and control teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions across the Asset Servicing ecosystem.
- Define and track measurable outcomes, including improved client satisfaction, faster access to information, reduced manual processing, better data quality, increased straight-through processing, improved control effectiveness and lower operational risk.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, using client and operational insight to identify new opportunities and move propositions from concept through to production adoption.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Preferable to have demonstrable experience in the Custody domain, preferably across Asset Servicing and/or Corporate Actions, with a good to have understanding of custody operations, settlement, reconciliations, books and records, client servicing, data management and operational resilience.
- Experience applying specification-driven development practices to improve delivery quality, traceability and control effectiveness, ensuring that AI solutions are developed against agreed acceptance criteria, testable requirements, measurable business outcomes aligned with the guardrails & consistency of the solution.
- Strong and hands-on experience in data strategy, data-led proposition development and applying data to improve client outcomes, operational performance and decision-making.
- Proven (hands-on) experience leading digital experience, digital servicing or proposition design initiatives within financial services or another complex, regulated environment.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering technology-led business transformation from strategy and discovery through to implementation, adoption and measurable benefits.
- Mandatory experience using and implementing Artificial Intelligence projects specifically within Asset Servicing or closely related Securities Services activities, with a sound understanding of production delivery, data requirements, governance and responsible Artificial Intelligence.
- Strong understanding (and hands-on experience) of modern technology and digital delivery tech stack, including APIs, data platforms, workflow automation, integration, cloud-enabled services and data visualisation.
- Ability to translate complex business and operational needs into clear propositions, investment cases, delivery roadmaps and success measures.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, technology, operations, product, risk, compliance and regional teams.
- A strategic, commercially minded and collaborative approach, with sound judgement and a strong focus on client experience, operational resilience, control effectiveness and sustainable growth.
