We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist. 

In this role, you will: 

• Work across various platforms and collaborate with other support teams.

• Design, develop, test and implement changes to the solutions based on business requirements and strategic direction.

• Collaborate with other Development teams, test and maintain the platforms and their integration with other systems

• Communicate with Product Owner and agile Pod on a regular basis as part of product/project support

• Should be able to guide Junior team members in development & delivery.

• Responsible to support production releases

• Peer Review, CI/CD pipeline implementation and Service monitoring.

• Should be flexible in working hours, ready to work in shift and On call

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: 

• Person should have 8-10 years of experience in s/w development on data analysis or big data projects, preferably data Engineer with Quantexa certification & work experience.

• Good at Scala programming, Spark 2 or Spark 3 based applications, Spark SQL

• Good understanding of CDP 7.1, HDFS filesystems, Unix, Unix Shell Scripting, Airflow

• Good understanding of Elasticsearch

• Good understanding of DevOps concepts/platforms

• Experience in understanding and analyzing complex business requirements and carry out the system design accordingly.

• Expertise building and deploying production level data processing batch systems maintained by application support teams.

• Ability to work at pace, communicate clearly, operate independently and a good team player; Optional understanding of Cloud platforms.
