In this role, you will:

  • This role operates in a highly time critical environment and is required to be fully involved in processing of trades (Subscription and redemptions), reporting and settlements activities, corporate actions, fund price and other activities relating to transfer agency functions with focus on below listed responsibility areas:
  • 100% of time spent in processing / technical aspects of the process.
  • Checking all transactions and activities (depending on business requirement, this role may undertake input and processing of transactions, where in that scenario, the relevant checks will be undertaken by another checker of the same level)
  • Key role for the delivery of a cohesive service to our clients and their investors.
  • Manage high volume and high value transactions and ensure no trades/activities are missed, which would result in claims and adverse client impact.
  • Day to day processing of activities within the department to ensure that all tasks are processed in accordance with agreed procedures and controls and in accordance with relevant fund parameters.
  • Understanding of the business and keeping abreast of development in the market.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the Transfer Agency processes and procedures in consultation with the Supervisor.

To be successful you will:

  • A graduate/ post-graduate diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance and Banking is a must have requirement. Higher qualification not a bar provided aspirations commensurate with the position.
  • Knowledge of securities industry essential and preferably experience in handling Mutual Fund investors/investments.
  • Strong computer skills in Excel and Microsoft Word
  • At least 2-3 years of Prior experience in Transfer Agency & Registrar or Fund services operations is must.
  • Working knowledge and prior experience/understanding of regulations such as CASS (Client Money), IMR (Investor Money regulations, GDPR, FATCA and CRS, CSSF.
  • Demonstration of strong knowledge of TA Operational Transaction Activity for the UK/Europe/Asia industry specifically Luxemburg Transfer Agency is desirable.
