We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst - Securities Services

In this role, you will:

  • The Product Solutions Team is a global function (~200+ FTE) supporting all Securities Services (SSv) products, accountable for product/service programme governance, design, delivery and operating model oversight aligned to strategy and targets.
  • The Senior Business Analyst focuses on evaluating and optimising processes to improve efficiency, client outcomes and deliver strategic, scalable, reusable solutions.
  • Works closely with Operations, Product and Technology to identify improvement opportunities, document requirements, mitigate risks, and validate/realise benefits.
  • Owns the Business Analysis component of Product Solutions projects from initiation to delivery, partnering with Project/Programme Managers, workstream leads and other BAs.
  • Leads change management activities end-to-end: change planning, stakeholder/audience analysis, communications, training/support, organisation alignment, and tracking readiness/adoption/feedback.
  • Responsible for implementation management, including planning, controlling and reporting deployment activities to accelerate benefits and minimise risk; manages implementation readiness.
  • May also deliver project management for smaller change initiatives or a workstream within a larger programme, alongside BA responsibilities.
  • Core BA duties include requirements elicitation (interviews, workshops, surveys, process analysis, use cases), reconciling conflicting inputs, translating needs into operational requirements, and challenging assumptions.
  • Produces required governance artefacts and supports architectural standards, best practices and documentation; identifies process gaps, performance bottlenecks and sustainability risks; participates in enterprise risk assessments and compliance monitoring.
  • Success profile emphasises strong communication, presentation, data summarisation, stakeholder management, planning/prioritisation, problem-solving, negotiation/influencing, decision-making, resilience, and flexibility to support cross-time-zone delivery and standardisation/best-practice adoption.

To be successful, you will:

  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis roles or equivalent experience in large scale operational change. Excellent analytical skills and strategic business insight to understand complex challenges and facilitate workable solutions.
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels across cross-geographical teams.
  • Competent in Operating Model Design, Data Analysis, User Documentation, Solution Design, Solution Validation and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Proficient in Impact Assessment/Gap Analysis, Business Requirements gathering, Process Mapping and Process Design
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interfacing with both business and IT stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to demonstrate what is important in ensuring successful delivery of projects across various phases and the ability to flex your approach to the different challenges faced.
  • Exposure to different project/portfolio types/clients – ideally with experience of complex business and IT transformation.
  • Sufficient level of technical background to provide high credibility of knowledge to teams and to be able to evaluate complex project / portfolio risks and issues accurately and objectively.
  • Hands on knowledge of using project management tools (e.g – Visio, Project Planner, JIRA, Confluence, etc). Utilise experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required.
