We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end requirements definition and analysis from initiation through development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation.
  • Ensure solutions are clearly defined, traceable, and aligned to business outcomes and end-to-end client journeys.
  • Manage and maintain a set of deliverables within the wider pipeline, with accurate capture, tracking, and reporting in relevant systems.
  • Support prioritisation and sequencing by providing clear analysis, options, trade-offs, and impact assessments.
  • Contribute to complex, cross-functional and cross-product change programmes using appropriate delivery methodologies.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, and delivery impacts early; escalate to the Lead BA/Manager as needed to protect delivery momentum.
  • Align analysis and delivery activity to Change Management and Risk Frameworks, maintaining clear, audit-ready documentation.
  • Support client onboarding and enablement across channels/products, coordinating stakeholder readiness and interlocks.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships; facilitate workshops, drive decisions, and communicate clearly and constructively.
  • Drive continuous improvement, act as a subject-matter specialist, and share knowledge through mentoring and coaching across teams.

  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, including with clients and third parties.
  • Translate complex/large datasets into actionable insights and effective visualisations.
  • Plan and organise work effectively, managing time and priorities across multiple deliverables.
  • Apply analytical and creative problem-solving, staying effective under pressure.
  • Influence appropriately and make sound, integrity-led decisions within remit; take ownership and accountability.
  • Work inclusively across time zones, valuing diverse perspectives and adapting to change.
  • Follow governance and reporting requirements, supporting initiative set-up/closure aligned to Group standards and role-modelling HSBC Values.
  • Bring strong fund administration/fund accounting expertise, including full NAV lifecycle processes (pricing, corporate actions, income, accruals/expenses, FX, fees, validation/sign-off).
  • Demonstrate derivatives lifecycle accounting and operational control knowledge (OTC/listed derivatives, reconciliations and exception management, valuation governance), plus experience with vendors/custodians/admins; Multifonds preferred and other platforms/integration tools beneficial.
