We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST MANAGER
In this role, you will:
- The job-holder will carry out the Programme business analysis for several projects or workstreams concurrently and/or may manage elements of a strategic Programme managed by a Programme Manager. The role is also designed to provide leadership and management, where required, to one or more Business Analysts.
- The projects involve the management of multiple work streams and resources within the SSv Business, as well as across the business sectors and technology change teams. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships internally and with Clients and third parties is therefore a key component of the role, as is stakeholder management and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- A primary objective is to certify that the projects are delivered against plan within the timescales and to budget, highlighting and resolving issues as they arise. Additionally, a consistent and professional approach to business analysis is essential with particular attention to the risk profile of the project delivery and the subsequent operational model.
- Must be a strong communicator both verbal and written with a comprehensive understanding of content and context;Displays good presentation skills and can tailor communication methods for the audience, environment and setting.
- Ability to summarize large data set into meaningful innovative representations; Is an active listener and displays good inter-personal and communication skills; Able to work with individuals at all levels, ability to build and maintain highly effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and third parties; Good team player/manager and demonstrates good organizational skills.
- Shows good planning & time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively; Strategic mind-set, with strong conceptual, creative, and analytical content; Strong problem-solving skills and able to perform under pressure;Displays good negotiation and influencing skills and can use these skills appropriately.
- Ability to take decisions within the scope of responsibility (courageous integrity / connected and collaborated approach in gathering information to make decision); Self-motivated and able to work independently, and under own initiative with a sense of ownership and accountability; Positive, dynamic, and resilient individual, open to change and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Responds positively to challenge, showing consideration for others’ views and taking these into account when making decisions;Ready to be flexible and support requirements/deliverables across time zones, when needed; Governance and Reporting: Creates, implements, and operates within an appropriate governance framework which aligns to the wider Group governance framework.

- Demonstrate best practices in: Business Analysis; Stakeholder Management; Project Planning; Risks & Issues Management; Resource Planning & Management; Governance; Rapid Issue Resolution; Opportunity Assessment; Test Management & Planning;Feasibility Study.
- Candidates are expected to be competent in: AML/KYC; Quality Assurance (PMO Services and Best Practice); Test Planning;Cost & Benefit Management; Scope Management; Business Readiness; Communication.
- Candidates are expected to have working knowledge of: Investment Governance; Change Tracking and Review; Governance Design & Execution;Resource Demand Management; Portfolio Planning; Internal Consultancy; High Level Graduate Degree; Possession of a relevant Business Analysis Qualification would be advantageous.
- Experience in the Financial Services sector; Experience with AML/KYC; Proven track record in Change Management, Business Analysis methodology.
- Team Management skills are a must for People Manager Role; Ability to lead Projects/Business Analysis workstreams; Familiar with JIRA and Confluence
- Ability to build and maintain highly effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and third parties; Shows good planning, organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Strong problem solving skills and able to perform under pressure; Displays good negotiation and influencing skills and can use these skills appropriately; Self-motivated and able to work independently, and under own initiative with a sense of ownership and accountability
- Be aware of the Operational Risk scenarios associated with your role and act in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations.Open to new thoughts as adaptation to new system and processes required.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a potential candidate who wishes to expand their knowledge, to become involved in Projects that impact the Securities Services Business. The required candidate should have had Business Analysis experience. Specific SSv experience would be beneficial but not essential.
