Job Title: Risk Screening Processor - CIB COO

If Payments Screening, the job holder works on the Live Transactions to screen and identify Sanctions Concerns within the SLA’s.

If Name or Negative News Screening, the Job holder works conducts preliminary investigations on the customer database to identify any Sanctions concerns, Anti Money Laundering concerns, PEP (Politically Exposed Person) concerns.

In this role, you will:

This is an Individual Contributor Role, the job holder will work on alert processing, participate in coordinated discussions with line management, business partners for updates and guidance regarding process flow, and procedures and regulatory issues and Manage preliminary investigation reports for the business area to meet established standards in the Service Level Agreement (SLA). The job holder will work at the capacity of an Associate, hence working on the standard alert adjudication at a basic level.

To be successful you will:

  • Graduate in any discipline (Essential)
  • Knowledge of various Banking Products (Eg. Savings Bank Account, Current Accounts, Business Account)
  • Experience in working / managing Sanctions / AML Screening Process or any other related to Financial Crime and Compliance roles. (E)
  • Ability to take logical and risk based decisions to action PEP alerts (Essential)
  • Knowledge of topical issues relating to money laundering, crime and terrorism.
  • Good understanding of Internet and its usage
  • General understanding of Financial Products and Markets.

 

Others:

  • Financial Crime Compliance experience. (Fraud, Anti Money Laundering, Sanctions, Counter-Terrorism)
  • Broad experience of how the different financial circumstances of customers are reflected in their account activity and the ability from that experience to recognize when activity is suspicious rather than unusual or in keeping.
  • Fraud detection operations experience preferable.
  • Performance and behavioral rating - Strong and above in the annual appraisal.
  • Excellent Communication, presentation and inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to understand and manage risk.
