We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Protection Support Manager

In this role, you will: 

• Drive product strategies in to achieve financial & non-financial targets

• Ensure Protection products are launched in a timely manner and in line with relevant group policies, and that PIRs are conducted effectively after giving due consideration to relevant risks, competitiveness, and profitability, and at the same time alignment with current market environment and Global product strategies.

• Liaise with Legal, Compliance, Marketing and Communications teams to deliver products within the regulatory framework and current HSBC Group and Local policies.

• Support projects in response to market changes and opportunities and in line with HSBC United Kingdom and Group strategy.

• Drive a culture of excellence in product lifecycle management and in the development of customer centric solutions and products.

• Assist with the strategic development and ongoing management of United Kingdom protection products like life insurance, critical illness cover

• Assist with the monitoring and analysis of commercial performance and customer outcomes

• Work with other product owners, journey leads and Distribution teams for the betterment of the business and clients.

• Experience of 6-8 years with post graduation/masters degree

• Cultivate an engaging working environment, and actively encourage a culture of personal development and a high-performance culture / growth mindset

• Support the build of capabilities within the Protection Team, while ensuring the product suite is integrated within broader business.

• Understanding and experience in Stakeholder Management,Project Management

• Experience in Protection Insurance Products,Product Management,Wealth and sales/suitability processes
