We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Product Specialist, Global Manager Selection

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with investment due diligence (IDD), organizational due diligence (ODD) and asset manager relations team as well as external stakeholders in HSBC local teams to identify and define product needs and bring to market.
  • Work with business entities on requests for new fund coverage and build investment cases for new fund requests.
  • Help track progress of new requests, onboarding by market’s
  • Help with annual fund rationalization process to remove funds no longer required by markets from research coverage.
  • Help co-ordinate product-related activities and ensure fund launches and related initiatives are followed through to completion and appropriate reporting made to senior management as required.
  • Gather and process information to produce high-quality presentations at guidance of the Head of Product Specialists for Management Information.

To be successful you will:

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in the Funds / Asset Management industry.
  • Practical knowledge and experience of financial markets, the macroeconomic environment, risk management, regulations and their application to the equity markets.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel capabilities, with demonstrable ability to create presentations that effectively convey complex information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with project experience
  • An analytical mindset and attention to detail, with strong numeracy skills and ability to process and summaries key information
  • Professional qualifications/certifications such as chartered financial accountant, financial risk manager, Master of Business Administration
