Purpose of the Role

Market Security S Operations is delivering a multi-year transformation strategy known as Rubix. Within Rubix, the Workflow Orchestration Programme is a flagship initiative enabling MSS Operations’ transformation agenda.

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Owner to lead delivery of key platform features and capabilities required to onboard operations teams/users and execute a prioritised backlog. You’ll contribute to the Workflow & Orchestration roadmap and drive delivery across MSS Operations as the platform grows through a multi-year roadmap.

In this role, you will:

  1. Lead delivery of key platform features/capabilities to onboard operations teams/users and execute a prioritised backlog for the Workflow Orchestration Programme.
  2. Align delivery plans to the product vision and strategy set by the Chief Product Owner, contributing to roadmap refinement based on feedback and business needs.
  3. Strong understanding of the latest developments and implementation experience of AI (including Agentic AI) and Data Analytics - Preferred/Desirable
  4. Own and maintain the features/capabilities backlog, including demand intake and prioritisation via the prioritisation forum.
  5. Define sprint goals and guide Agile PODs to deliver value within agreed timeframes, reviewing progress each sprint and assuring outcomes.
  6. Implement and maintain robust data governance practices (e.g., data lineage, stacks and models) to enable data-driven decision makin.
  7. Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders—gathering requirements, managing expectations, and facilitating alignment across Operations, Change and Technology.
  8. Maintain strong awareness of operational risk and internal controls, complying with relevant internal/external rules and supporting audit/regulatory actions.

 

To be successful you will:

Strong understanding of the latest developments and implementation experience of AI (including Agentic AI) and Data Analytics

  1. Bring strong Product Owner experience in an Agile environment, with a solid grasp of Scrum/Kanban ways of working
  2. Demonstrate a customer-centric mindset, focusing on high-impact outcomes and measurable value delivery.
  3. Have experience delivering large, complex operational change from initiation through deployment
  4. Communicate clearly and influence effectively—bridging technical and non-technical teams, negotiating trade-offs, and leading without authority.
  5. Navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment—managing multiple dependencies, competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  6. Build strong partnerships across a wide stakeholder set (e.g., product owners, operations SMEs, architects, technology PODs) and create an environment for sharing best practices.
  7. Partner with vendor understanding their roadmap, planning adoption of new features, and lobbying for core product enhancements where needed.
  1. Apply strong analytical/problem-solving skills, connecting data capabilities to business goals; ideally with awareness of data models/analytics/integration and AI, including Agentic AI
