We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Manager - Market Intelligence

 

In this role, you will:

  • Asset Management related market and competitive analysis.
  • Provide periodical and ad-hoc analysis on our products and competing products and market trends.
  • Work closely with existing team in India and offshore to meet requests across different internal divisions.
  • Assist with the development of market and landscape analysis, competitor analysis and successful delivery of support items in a timely manner
  • Managing the prioritisation of competing demands - effectively working on and prioritising multiple projects and delivering at pace
  • Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
  • Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy
  • Understand the Treating Customers Fairly  principles, HSBC Global Asset Management’s Treating Customers Fairly  principles  philosophy and how this affects your role. Act in a manner that takes account of these principles to ensure fair outcomes for customers

 

To be successful you will

  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in the financial services industry with similar roles
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Solution oriented attitude, hardworking, motivated and can-do attitude
  • Should be  aware of Operational Risks associated with the role and acts in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations
  • Balancing the demands of multiple internal and external stakeholders, in particular those in sales, investments, product, responsible investments and research and insight, amongst others across Asset Management
  • Working with multiple individuals and with quantitative and qualitative tools to ensure deliverable targets are met
  • Well versed in stakeholder / client management
