We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager- Controlroom Operation 

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Obtain transaction status from the business to update the conflicts clearance database.
  • Place Share Dealing Restrictions on Staff based on Research Reports published by HSBC for Non-Korean Stocks.
  • Place Share Dealing Restrictions on Principal Trading and Staff for Korean Stocks based on Research Reports published by HSBC.
  • Add and Remove applicable Watch List and Restricted list entries based on deal timings and ongoing deal updates.
  • As one of the Risk Stewards, review Outside Activities of Staff across the Globe and approve or reject based on the outcome.
  • Review and analyze wall crossing requests and liaise with the business to manage information barriers.
  • Perform research reviews and research approvals.
  • Preparing and distributing the relevant MI for the process to relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuous review of processes with the objective of improving the service delivery timeframes and identify areas of improvement.
  • Initiate and implement as well as ensure participation in high-impact quality projects leading to operational efficiency and higher productivity.
  • Active participation in IT input (e.g., system testing). Exercise high degree of governance and control mechanism.

 

Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge of Financial Markets.
  • Good Knowledge / ability to interpret various laws around Conflict of Interest.
  • Good understanding of HSBC business lines.
  • Good command of both verbal and written English.
  • Willingness to work in core night shift
  • Experience in Control Room operations.
  • Ability to analyze data from every aspect and arrive at logical conclusions.
  • Eye for detail to ensure accuracy of work.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Experience in a role involving understanding systems and suggesting enhancements.
  • Good Knowledge of MS Excel
